Maintenance Operative Start: ASAP Location: Cambridge Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (weekend work may be required) Hourly Rate: Negotiable depending on experience Duration: Temporary If you have experience in facilities maintenance or building services, then this could be the role for you! Working in a luxury environment providing carpentry, plumbing and other multi trade support you may have previously worked as a handyman or maintenance operative and are looking for a new challenge. Duties will include: Carry out general repairs and upkeep, including basic plumbing, joinery, and decorating tasks. Apply sealants (e.g., siliconing around sinks, baths, and windows) to maintain water-tight finishes. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety issues. Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure tools and materials are used safely and work areas are left clean and tidy.
