Job Title: Maintenance Officer Location: Newtownabbey Duration: Temporary Salary: £16.90 per hour Hours: 37 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Friday Application Deadline: 5:00pm on Friday 7th August 2026 Apple Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for a Maintenance Officer based in Newtownabbey. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy maintenance team, carrying out property inspections, coordinating repair works and liaising with contractors, tenants and other stakeholders to ensure maintenance services are delivered efficiently. Key Responsibilities Carry out day-to-day inspections of properties and issue repair works. Undertake Change of Tenancy inspections. Review completed maintenance works and inspect properties for payment approval. Liaise with contractors, tenants and a range of internal and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation. Support the effective delivery of maintenance services across the area. Essential Criteria Applicants should have: 1-5 years'' relevant industry experience. A degree with 1 year''s industry experience, OR 3 years'' industry experience. Intermediate IT proficiency.
