Maintenance Mechanical FitterWe are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to join a busy manufacturing and production environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical maintenance professional who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and keeping production machinery operating safely and efficiently.You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of sheet metal working machinery and associated production equipment, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability.The RoleAs a Maintenance Mechanical Fitter, you will play an important role in ensuring production machinery, plant and equipment is maintained to a high standard.Your responsibilities will include:Maintaining and repairing production machinery in line with operational priorities.Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults and carrying out effective repairs.Responding efficiently to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.Completing planned and reactive maintenance activities.Recording maintenance work and ensuring accurate maintenance records are maintained.Installing and commissioning new equipment where required.Identifying and sourcing spare parts, components and equipment required for maintenance activities.Supporting the maintenance of the wider site, including building fixtures, fittings and support equipment.Installing items such as barriers, racking and other equipment when ..... full job details .....
