Maintenance Mechanical Engineer ROLE: Maintenance Mechanical EngineerPAY RATE: £21.74 per hour PAYE (£42,000 equivalent)CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary - Until 9th November, with possibility of extension or conversionLOCATION: Alderley Park, Macclesfield THE ROLE: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of a large site in Alderley Park, Macclesfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and remedial works across mechanical building services and associated systems. You will work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The role requires someone who can communicate confidently with customers and site teams, manage their own workload and maintain accurate records of all planned and reactive activities. There may be an opportunity for the position to be extended or converted following the initial contract period. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and building services faults. Carry out fault finding on HVAC, LTHW, CLTHW systems, pumps, motors and associated plant. Support the maintenance and operation of mechanical and plumbing systems.
