Maintenance Manager
You know what good maintenance looks like on a busy manufacturing site. The right people on the right priorities. Planned work completed when it should be. Breakdowns properly investigated, not temporarily patched up. Mechanical, electrical, automation and planning working together. Production knowing where they stand. That is what this business wants its maintenance function to deliver consistently. As Maintenance Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of a large maintenance function within a complex 24/7 heavy manufacturing environment. There are experienced engineers, strong technical knowledge and people who care about keeping the plant running. What the business now needs is a Maintenance Manager who can bring greater structure to the operation and turn maintenance plans into action. You will work across mechanical, electrical, automation, shift maintenance and planning, making sure priorities are clear, resources are used properly and the work that has been agreed actually gets completed. This is not a role where you will manage from a spreadsheet. As Maintenance Manager, you will need to understand what is happening across the plant. Why has the same piece of equipment failed again? Why has planned maintenance been pushed back? Are the right people and parts available to complete the job? What is preventing the supervisors and engineers from delivering?
