Jelly Technical is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing food manufacturer who are looking to appoint a Maintenance Manager to take full ownership of site engineering performance across its operation.

You''ll lead a team of 10 engineers, taking responsibility for all maintenance activity across the site, this is a hands-on leadership role where you''ll be actively involved on the shop floor, driving performance and setting standards.

As a Maintenance Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Overall responsibility of the day to day running of the maintenance team.
• Work closely with production to ensure rapid response to breakdown issues
• Managing the engineering department budget
• Leading, developing and supporting the engineering team
• Prioritising and coordinating breakdown response to minimise disruption
• Driving continuous improvement across reliability and efficiency
• Ensuring compliance with food manufacturing and safety standards
• Promote a strong health & safety culture

What You''ll Bring to this Maintenance Manager role:

• Apprentice trained to level 3 as a minimum, ideally holding a HNC / HND in engineering
• Proven experience managing engineering teams
• Background within food manufacturing
• Strong pro active leadership skills and the ability to positively influence the team.
• Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
