Maintenance ManagerCompetitive Salary12 month fixed term contractWrexhamDays Only (Mon-Fri)gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Engineering Manager to work at their facility based near WrexhamPerformance ObjectivesMaintenance Leadership and StrategyLead the site maintenance function, providing hands-on and strategic leadership to maintenance engineers and technicians.Develop and implement a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and predictive maintenance strategy across all process areas.Own and manage maintenance KPIs (uptime, downtime, MTBF, MTTR, OEE support).Drive a proactive maintenance culture, reducing reactive breakdowns and unplanned stoppages.Plant and Equipment CoverageMaintain and support equipment across the full manufacturing lifecycle, including but not limited to:Wax Assembly and Injection EquipmentShell/Coating Lines and Drying SystemsShot blast, grinding, and finishing machineryCNC machining centres and ancillary equipmentCompressed air, gas systems, extraction, and site utilitiesSafety, Compliance and ReliabilityEnsure all maintenance activities comply with HandS legislation, PUWER, LOLER, and site safety procedures.Actively support permit-to-work, isolation, and LOTO processes.Ensure maintenance practices align with aerospace and quality standards (AS9100 / ISO 9001).Support audits, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives relating to equipment safety and reliability. ..... full job details .....
