Maintenance Manager £17p/h - Care Home East LondonFull time Hours, Monday to Friday, 9-5£17 per hour depending on experience Fiona at Amber Mace is currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to join the team at an independent care home provider based in East London/ Essex borders. You will be in charge of the upkeep and overall maintenance of a single site Care Home, mechanics, electricals, specialist equipment and other inner workings of the home. You will report to the Home Manager and will have the vital role of keeping the home running smoothly by ensuring that the heating, lighting, plumbing and equipment are kept running to its best capacity.If you have experience working in the electrical, plumbing, carpentry, joinery, or possess a similar skill set, and are looking for a part time role where you can really make a difference with your work, then please do not hesitate to apply today!General Responsibilities:• Carry out regular fire safety checks• Regular inspection and maintenance of electrical storage, plumbing, heating, lighting etc.• Daily documentation of all maintenance and repairs carried out• Adhere to Health and Safety laws and guidelines• Supervise any contractors, gardeners, or local fire officers • Liaise with Manager with regards to the monthly maintenance budget• Receive deliveries to the home• Carry out basic fault finding in order to apply preventative measures The successful applicant will possess the following skills/qualifications:• Experience ..... full job details .....
