Lead Maintenance FitterSittingbourne4 on 4 off Shift Pattern Days and Nights Overtime AvailableWe are looking for an experienced Lead Maintenance Fitter to join a fast-paced industrial processing environment, supporting the smooth running of site operations and helping to minimise downtime across the plant.This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown repairs and continuous improvement of machinery and equipment. Working closely with production teams, you will play a key part in ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and with maximum productivity.The RoleCarrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on plant machineryCompleting planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdownsFault finding on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systemsMonitoring equipment performance and identifying improvements to reduce downtimeMaintaining stock levels of spare parts and reporting shortagesCompleting maintenance reports and shift handoversEnsuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site proceduresSupporting housekeeping standards within the workshop and operational areasLiaising with production, management and fabrication teams when requiredWhat We''re Looking ForPrevious experience within a Lead Fitter or Maintenance roleBackground within manufacturing, processing or heavy industry environmentsKnowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems and PLCsMIG welding experience advantageousAbility to ..... full job details .....
