Workshop Labourer/ Maintenance Labourer Location - York Pay - 13.97 per hour Temporary contract - Full-time hrs (Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:15, early finish Friday - 15:15)About the RoleWe are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Workshop Labourer to join our client team at their busy logistics site in York. This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of workshop and yard, working primarily outdoors alongside an experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.Working HoursMonday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:15Friday: 07:30 - 15:15 (early finish)Includes: 15-minute morning break and 30-minute lunchTotal: 39 hours per weekKey ResponsibilitiesCleaning trailer exteriors and sweeping trailer interiorsSteam cleaning trailers, including undersides, in preparation for MOTSupporting general workshop and yard maintenanceKeeping work areas clean, organised, and safeAssisting with equipment cleaning and waste disposalSupporting pallet management within the logistics operationCarrying out driving duties (collection and delivery of parts using a 3.5T sprinter van)Assisting the workshop team and labourer with ad-hoc tasks as requiredAbout YouPrevious experience in a similar workshop, yard, or logistics role is desirableExperience using steam cleaning equipment (ideally for trailer cleaning) is preferredA valid, clean UK driving licence is ..... full job details .....
