Maintenance OperativeTemporary - 3 months 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 13.84 per hour Paid weekly Based in Canterbury Travel required to Dover and FolkestoneWe are looking for a practical and reliable Maintenance Operative to provide an effective and efficient maintenance service across supported accommodation and office properties.You will carry out a range of general maintenance, responsive repairs and planned works, helping to ensure properties are safe, well maintained and presented to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out general maintenance including decorating, basic carpentry, flooring, plumbing, door and window repairs and changing light bulbs.Respond to maintenance issues and ensure repairs are prioritised and completed within reasonable timescales.Help keep properties clean, tidy and safe, reporting issues such as waste, fly-tipping, pest control and other concerns.Liaise with specialist contractors when required.Complete planned and cyclical maintenance, including refurbishing and redecorating rooms when needed.About YouWe are looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable and organised, with a good range of general maintenance skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.A full driving licence and access to your own transport are essential, as the role involves travel between properties across Canterbury, Dover and Folkestone.You will need to be able to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team.The role is subject ..... full job details .....
