Maintenance Engineer/Fitter

Monday-Friday: Weekly Changeover 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00

Our client is a leading processor bringing together a wide range of established brands across the UK and Europe. The company produces a range of building materials using traditional and modern manufacturing methods. They are looking to bring onboard an additional maintenance fitter to their team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Electrical & mechanical maintenance, PPM''s, and repairs
  • Working on a variety of production machinery
  • Part of a close-knit, skilled team that is growing & developing
  • Start-up and shut down processing plan, equipment and facilities
  • Carry out safety tests

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Be comfortable with working on mechanical or electrical problems and faults within a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Ideally have experience working on motors, conveyers, gears, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings
  • Able to competently weld and grind.
  • Team player able to do ad hoc tasks when necessary
