The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the reliability, safety and performance of plant, machinery and associated equipment across two manufacturing facilities. Working within a heavy engineering and foundry environment, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs and minor improvement works to minimise downtime and optimise production performance. Foundry experience is desirable, although candidates with strong mechanical engineering and maintenance experience from other heavy industrial or manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, self-motivated, practical and organised, with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
