Are you a hands-on, electrically biased engineer? We''re recruiting a number of Maintenance Technicians to join a leading UK manufacturer at their West Bromwich site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business investing heavily in engineering and career development.
You will need to commit to either one of the following shift patterns with a degree of flexibility to cover holidays and/or sickness.
Continental shift - Days only 7am - 7pm
PM shift - Permanent 2pm - 11pm shift
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Diagnose and repair faults, carrying out root cause analysis
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
- Support ongoing site improvements and efficiency projects
What We''re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical discipline
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or other fast-paced environments (food sector experience desirable but not essential)
- 18th Edition Electrical Certificate - an advantage
