Maintenance Engineering Manager

Our client is a very successful recycling business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Engineering Manager.Salary 60K - 65K Neg + BenefitsWe are seeking an experienced multi-skilled engineer (with strong electrical and mechanical engineering skills to manage and control all maintenance activities at a large heavy industry processing plant near Selby. The Role:The Maintenance Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing all planned and reactive maintenance activities and some commissioning and CAPEX project work. Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;Develop, implement and maintain PPM systemManagement and control of a small team of maintenance engineers and also external contractorsPlan, manage and control all maintenance activities and engineering projectsMonitoring, sourcing and ordering spare and replacement partsEnsure adequate staff training, recruitment and disciplinary needs are metAdopt a continuous improvement approach and help to deliver efficiency and cost savings where possibleEnsure compliance with all legal and HSE requirements Provide "Hands-on" assistance with electrical and mechanical engineering maintenance and repair of plant and machinery.
