We''re recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a large, established manufacturing site in the Launceston area, offering an attractive days-based shift pattern alongside plenty of hands-on engineering work. Working 5:00am - 2:00pm, you''ll finish early enough to have your afternoons and evenings back, with no night shifts. There is also a 1 in 4 week call-out rota where you will be paid overtime at enhanced rates for any callouts. This is a busy production environment where engineering plays a critical role in keeping the site running. You''ll get involved in breakdowns, fault-finding, planned maintenance, machinery repairs and improvement work across a varied range of production equipment. The Role Electrical and mechanical fault-finding across production and processing machinery Responding to breakdowns and getting equipment safely back into production Planned and preventative maintenance Fault-finding on motors, sensors, contactors, relays, drives and electrical control systems Mechanical repairs including bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, pumps and seals Fault-finding and repairs across pneumatic and hydraulic systems Supporting machinery modifications, installations and improvement projects Identifying recurring faults and helping improve equipment reliability ..... full job details .....
