Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Location: Liverpool Hours: Nights, 10.00pm to 6.00am) Salary: 44kpa to 46kpa + Company Benefits About the Role Working for a UK leading manufacturer you will be working for a as part of a small, dedicated engineering maintenance team, providing essential support to production, working closely with team leaders and the QA department. Your responsibilities will include: Performing TPM activities (electrical and mechanical) when production allows Responding swiftly to breakdowns and fault-finding Driving continuous improvement to enhance production performance and maintain quality standards Collaborating across departments to reduce downtime and improve efficiency Key Responsibilities Conduct reactive and preventative maintenance Carry out visual inspections throughout the facility Support projects, including electrical installation of new equipment Ensure compliance with HSE standards Your Skills and Experience Electrically biased with solid mechanical knowledge (disassembly, pneumatics, hydraulics) Strong understanding of electrical systems: motors, AC/DC drives, relays, sensors, pressure switches Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and I/O interpretation City and Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent qualification Computer literate with good communication skills Flexible and proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Forklift and overhead crane experience (training provided) ..... full job details .....
