Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance EngineerWalker Cole International is partnered with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer to appoint a Maintenance Engineer. This role will play a key part in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of operationally critical manufacturing equipment, supporting the delivery of site production targets within a GMP-regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns, ensuring manufacturing equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Utilise the site''s maintenance management system to complete work orders, maintain accurate engineering records, manage spare parts requirements, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Support engineering projects including equipment installation, commissioning, validation activities, and technical improvements, while ensuring compliance with GMP, health and safety, and quality requirements. RequirementsNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline, with previous experience in a pharmaceutical, life sciences, FMCG, or other regulated manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding experience, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment. Working knowledge of GMP requirements, Permit to Work systems, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, and engineering best practices within a regulated environment.Job ID: ..... full job details .....
