Maintenance Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering team supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.The role will focus heavily on tooling maintenance, repair, and modification, alongside broader mechanical maintenance responsibilities across production equipment and press machinery.The RoleAs a Maintenance Engineer with a tooling bias, you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment, press tools, jigs, and fixtures operate efficiently and reliably across the site.Working closely with Production, Tooling, and Process Engineering teams, you will carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance activities, helping to minimise downtime and support overall production performance and OEE targets.This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong machining and tooling assembly experience within a metallic manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on press tools, jigs, fixtures, and associated production equipmentDiagnose and resolve tooling and mechanical breakdowns to minimise production downtimeMaintain, modify, repair, and assemble tooling components for manufacturing operationsSupport tooling improvements and continuous improvement initiatives across the siteUse workshop machinery including Manual lathes, Milling machines ..... full job details .....
