Maintenance Engineer

W Talent are exclusively representing a manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.This is a site-based role in Doncaster, responsible for maintaining production equipment, responding to breakdowns and supporting continuous production by minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability.The role would suit a multi-skilled maintenance professional with experience in a manufacturing environment, strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across production equipment and associated plant, ensuring machinery operates safely, reliably and efficiently.Working closely with Engineering and Production, the role will involve diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic faults, completing preventative maintenance schedules, supporting equipment improvements and ensuring production requirements are met with minimal downtime.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the maintenance scheduleDiagnose and resolve electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults across production equipmentRespond to breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtimeCarry out repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and reliablyFault-find on systems incorporating proportional and servo controlSupport continuous improvement ..... full job details .....
