Maintenance EngineerAbout the OpportunityWe''re recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their established engineering team at their manufacturing facility commutable from Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Hull.This is an excellent opportunity for a methodical and technically capable engineer who enjoys preventative maintenance, fault finding and working on specialist manufacturing equipment within a modern production environment. The successful candidate will be joining a business that values quality engineering, forward planning and continuous improvement.Salary: £41,500 - £43,500 depending on experience. Overtime is available when required and paid at an enhanced rate of £30.00 per hour.Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm / 8:00am - 4:30pmThe RoleThis is predominantly a preventative maintenance role, with approximately 70% planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and 30% reactive breakdown response. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining specialist production equipment to maximise machine reliability and minimise downtime.This role would particularly suit an engineer who takes a logical, analytical approach to maintenance someone who enjoys diagnosing faults, planning the repair strategy and carrying out work accurately rather than rushing to replace components.Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a wide range of manufacturing equipment.Respond efficiently to machinery ..... full job details .....
