Maintenance Engineer

Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Multi-Skilled Facilities Engineer to support client sites throughout the South West of England and South Wales. Based in Bristol or Bath, the successful candidate will work across a diverse range of commercial and retail environments, providing maintenance, repair and refurbishment services. The role offers significant autonomy and is ideally suited to an engineer who enjoys problem-solving, taking ownership of maintenance issues and delivering a high-quality service to clients across a broad geographical area. Key Responsibilities Deliver planned and reactive maintenance services across the South West and South Wales. Carry out building fabric repairs, alterations and installations. Complete plumbing repairs and minor installation works. Undertake basic electrical maintenance tasks. Carry out carpentry, decorating and finishing works. Conduct site inspections and condition assessments. Support refurbishment, fit-out and small project activities. Ensure client sites remain safe, compliant and operational. Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and service records. Develop strong relationships with client stakeholders and site teams. Essential Experience Facilities maintenance or building fabric maintenance experience. Multi-trade maintenance capability. Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
