Overview
We are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team based in Aldridge. This Maintenance Engineer position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the maintenance and repair of fabrication machinery while ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently.
Daily Duties
As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fabrication machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and service schedules
Skills Needed
Successful Maintenance Engineer candidates will have:
- Previous engineering maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
- Experience working with industrial machinery
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable experience includes:
- Fabrication machinery experience
- Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, or 18th Edition
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery
- IOSH or other Health & Safety qualifications
Salary and Benefits
Working as a Maintenance Engineer, you will receive:
- -42,000 to -50,000 per annum, dependent on experience and hours worked
- Full-time position, 40 to 45 hours per week
