£45,000 plus Bonuses 
Monday to Friday Day shift with an early finish on Friday (12pm)
Nottingham

We’re currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing business in Nottingham. The company has a strong reputation within its industry and operates a modern, highly automated manufacturing environment.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for a Monday-to-Friday days role with a genuinely positive team culture. The business has a strong staff retention rate, with people who join often staying for many years.

The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for keeping a range of automated manufacturing machinery running efficiently and safely. The role will involve a mixture of planned maintenance, reactive fault finding and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Attending to electrical and mechanical breakdowns across the site
  • Fault finding on automated machinery and production equipment
  • Robot fault finding and programming
  • PLC fault finding, diagnostics and programming
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Identifying recurring faults and helping to improve machine reliability
  • Working with automated systems, sensors, drives, motors and control equipment
  • Supporting installation, modification and improvement projects where required
  • Working closely with the wider engineering and production teams
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
About You

We’re looking for an electrically biased maintenance engineer who is confident working in a highly automated manufacturing environment.

You’ll ideally have experience with:

  • Electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • PLC fault finding and programming
  • Robotics – fault finding and programming
  • Automated machinery and control systems
  • Planned and reactive maintenance
  • Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
  • Diagnosing faults efficiently and methodically
