My client is a world-renowned packaging company and is a leading provider of corrugated packaging within the UK and are seeking a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer to work with a strong team of maintenance engineers. As part of the team, you will provide planned and reactive maintenance of production lines and plant equipment.Maintenance Engineer £47,000 - £57,000 NorthamptonShift Pattern - 4 on 4 off - (6AM - 6PM) and (6PM-6AM) Repeated for 7 sets and this will be followed by 18 days off.Our client is offering a salary reflecting experience with the potential to earn more through OT, training and development, EAP scheme, onsite mental health and well-being support, private pension.Responsibilities includeBe able to read mechanical drawings and diagrams to carry out fault finding, repairs, and installations.You will effectively lead and service and repair the machinery equipment and assets.You will be required to work on mechanical issues including pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes, and conveyors.You will be able to carry out alignment, stripping, rebuilding, and installation of mechanical components.Commissioning of new machinery, breakdowns, service and installation.Basic electrical fault finding and isolation where required.Understanding and working safely on production machinery including high-speed equipment.Essential:Strong customer service skillsMust be comfortable with big machinery.Experience of packaging, FMCG, industrial or another manufacturing ..... full job details .....
