You''ll split your time between routine preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns as they arise, working across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.Typical responsibilities: Diagnosing and resolving equipment faults and breakdownsCarrying out scheduled maintenance to keep production running smoothlyWorking hands-on with pumps, motors, conveyors, gearboxes and similar plant machineryContributing to equipment upgrades, installations and reliability improvementsBasic fabrication/welding tasks as needed What you''ll bring: Background in a manufacturing or industrial settingSolid fault-diagnosis and hands-on problem-solving abilityMechanical and/or electrical engineering skillsWelding/ Fabrication experienceA recognised engineering qualification or equivalent on-the-job experienceA self-starting attitude and comfort working solo or as part of a team Previous experience with PLCs and control systems, hydraulics, or food/FMCG production would be a bonus!
