We''re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Birkhill site, keeping plant and equipment running safely, reliably and efficiently.What You''ll Be DoingYou''ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of industrial plant and equipment. Key responsibilities include:Carrying out planned, corrective and preventative maintenance across siteDiagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and responding to breakdowns to minimise production downtimeMaintaining heavy industrial equipment including screw conveyors, elevators, rotating machinery and compressor systemsWorking with steam boilers and pressure systems, carrying out inspections and maintenance as requiredIdentifying equipment issues and completing both temporary and permanent repairs to maintain reliable productionCompleting routine maintenance, inspections, verification measurements and accurate maintenance recordsWorking safely and maintaining high standards across Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirementsSupporting the wider Operations team, plant reliability improvements and participating in the 24/7 on-call rota when requiredWhat You''ll GetOpportunity for regular overtime paid at enhanced rates Monday-Thursday working pattern, 2pm-12amCompany Pension ..... full job details .....
