Maintenance Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business. Backed by 10+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, you will play a key role within the engineering team, driving equipment reliability, supporting continuous improvement, and mentoring junior engineers. Key Duties Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a range of plant machinery and equipment Provide a rapid and effective response to breakdowns, minimising downtime Diagnose and resolve faults across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Take ownership of more complex fault-finding and recurring issues, applying root cause analysis Support continuous improvement activities, including upgrades and process optimisation Work closely with production to ensure maximum machine performance and uptime Accurately log maintenance activity and ensure adherence to health and safety standards Contribute to improving maintenance processes, reliability, and asset performance About You 10+ years'' experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment Recognised engineering qualification (mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled) Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability across multiple disciplines Experience dealing with complex breakdowns and recurring faults Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and reliability Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Strong ..... full job details .....
