Maintenance Engineer (Early Shift) Midhurst Area Monday to Friday Early Shift (6:00am to 3:00pm) Permanent Position Up to £45,000 + Excellent Benefits The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a successful manufacturing business. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving a range of industrial machinery and site services. This role offers a varied workload with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and the installation and commissioning of new machinery. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective repairs. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, minimising downtime and disruption to production. Support machinery installations, upgrades, testing, and commissioning activities. Analyse equipment failures and identify root causes to improve reliability. Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality standards. Work closely with production and technical teams to support operational performance. Assist with spare parts management and maintenance inventory control.
