      <description>Location: Liverpool | Salary: &amp;pound;32000 - &amp;pound;35000/annum | Type: Permanent | Our marine client requires a Shore based Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Liverpool.  As a Shore based Maintenance Engineer you will support the Technical Manager in ensuring the safe operation of vessels within the businesses Pilot Boat service contract.     SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT   	 You must have served time as a Marine Engineer, Plant Engineer, 4th Engineer or equivalent. 	 Flexibility of working hours to participate in an on-call rota with availability required every third week. 	 You must have a full UK Driving License. 	 You must be within 1 hour commuting distance of Marine Base, Liverpool. 	 Self-motivated, work on own initiative.    JOB DESCRIPTION   	 Carry out maintenance and repair of all engineering, electrical and hull systems and equipment on pilot boats, gig boats, oil spill response vessels and survey boats. 	 Undertake scheduled maintenance activities in line with the planned maintenance programme. 	 Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of mechanical and electrical spare parts inventory. 	 Carry out fault finding. 	 Carry out work in accordance with health and safety protocols.   Salary £32,000 - £35,000 DOE</description>
