Maintenance Engineer

Our Client requires an experienced Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias), this is a permanent, full-time position.Salary: competitive - discussed on initial phone call - monthly payHours: Rotating shifts - Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pmLocation: Hoo, RochesterBenefits include:Discretionary Bonus Scheme.25 days holiday, plus bank holidays. Increasing to 27 days after completion of 5 continuous years'' service.Pension Scheme.Secure on-site parking.Full-time, Permanent, Site based no remote working availableMaintenance Engineer Key ResponsibilitiesPerform both reactive and planned maintenance on all machinery.Track, organise, and complete all PPM tasks.Maintain accurate records within the MaintainX system.Coordinate contractors and oversee machine servicing.Manage spare parts inventory for all equipment.Track and organise service and contractor documentation.Conduct routine safety inspections to support a Safety-First culture.Support Production teams when required.Participate in an Out-of-Hours Call Out rota.Contribute to continuous improvement projects.Maintenance Engineer RequirementsCompleted Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or similar with relevant experience.ONC/BTEC, HNC/BTEC, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.17th or 18th Edition qualification.Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Good working knowledge of Mitsubishi PLCs and HMIs.Strong analytical, fault-finding, and problem-solving ..... full job details .....
