Maintenance EngineerLocation: Slough / surrounding areasSalary: £30,000 £35,000 depending on experience + overtime We re looking for a practical, reliable and physically capable individual to join our team in a varied field-based role supporting the movement, installation and upkeep of refrigeration equipment. This is a hands-on position with plenty of variety. You ll be based within a reasonable distance of Slough, but the role will involve travelling into London and other locations across the UK where required. What you ll be doing Transporting and delivering refrigeration equipment to customer sites Moving equipment into position, including occasional lifting upstairs or onto rooftops Carrying out deep cleans and general maintenance of commercial ice makers Replacing non-refrigeration components such as door seals, handles and lighting Assisting with general site-based maintenance and equipment preparation Completing job sheets and service information electronically using a digital system Travelling to different locations, with occasional overnight stays when required Where heavier equipment needs to be moved, lifting equipment and additional manpower will be provided, so you won t be expected to manage large or awkward loads alone. What we re looking for You don t necessarily need previous refrigeration experience, as full training will be provided.
