Maintenance Engineer

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer for our client based in Tarleton, Preston.

Brief Description About the Role:

You will carry out various mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance and repair activities on our production machinery in adherence to legislative, HSE and company standards. There may be some occasional electrical tasks, so experience of electrical maintenance is advantageous, but not essential.

• Ideally, level 3 qualified

• Maintenance Engineer – Responsibilities
• Carrying out maintenance, setting machines, troubleshooting and repair duties, across the site in a timely manner to reduce production down time
• Providing leadership in maintaining plant production capacity
• Continuous improvement activities increasing plant reliability
• Assisting in the continuous improvement of equipment, maximization of production, efficiency, improving safety and minimizing downtime
• Contribution to the delivery of production targets and HSE KPIs
• Providing operator and maintenance training to maximize multi-skilling
