Maintenance Engineer

About the RoleWe are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a specialist engineering team responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing automated lifting and material handling equipment.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong mechanical background and experience working with industrial lifting systems, automated machinery, hydraulic systems or electromechanical equipment.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably within a busy, high-demand environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on automated lifting and material handling equipment.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.Maintain and service lifting platforms, hoists, conveyors, motors, gearboxes and associated mechanical systems.Investigate equipment breakdowns, identify root causes and implement effective repairs.Inspect, adjust and replace mechanical components, including bearings, chains, drives, motors and transmission systems.Work with sensors, limit switches, control panels and safety interlock systems.Conduct routine equipment inspections and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety procedures.Assist with equipment installations, commissioning and modifications where required.Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete relevant technical documentation.Work ..... full job details .....
