Maintenance Engineer Braintree 45,000 - 51,000 (including shift allowance) Monday to Friday Rotating Shifts Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical fault-finding skills looking for your next challenge within a specialist manufacturing environment? I''m recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established engineering business based in Braintree, Essex. This role will suit an electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer who enjoys fault finding, improving equipment reliability and supporting a busy production facility. The role will involve:Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and site equipment Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across control panels, PLCs, inverter drives, motors and sensors Supporting mechanical maintenance activities including bearings, belts, gearboxes and pneumatics Responding to breakdowns and minimising production downtime Fault finding on automation systems including Siemens and Fanuc controls Completing maintenance records and supporting continuous improvement projects The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have:Experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment Strong electrical fault-finding skills and a recognised electrical qualification Knowledge of 3-phase systems, motors, drives and control systems Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics Basic mechanical maintenance experience PLC fault-finding experience (Siemens/Fanuc desirable) ..... full job details .....
