An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Eccles, Greater Manchester.

This is a hands-on engineering position offering plenty of variety, where you''ll be responsible for keeping machinery and equipment running efficiently through a combination of planned and reactive maintenance.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you''ll play a key role in maintaining the site''s machinery and minimising downtime.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

• Responding to reactive breakdowns and carrying out fault-finding

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults

• Carrying out routine inspections, servicing and repairs

• Investigating equipment failures and implementing solutions

• Completing maintenance records and documentation

• Supporting continuous improvement projects

• Working closely with production and engineering teams

• Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• An Engineering qualification - Minimum level 3 

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
