MAINTENANCE ENGINEER MECHANICALLY BIASED Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Mechanically BiasedLocation: Letchworth Garden CitySalary: £40,000+Shift: Monday to Friday Earlies and LatesNO NIGHTS and NO WEEKENDS The Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Letchworth Garden City.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to move away from night shifts and weekend working while still benefiting from a varied engineering position within a fast-paced production environment.Working on a Monday to Friday rotating earlies and lates shift pattern, you will join an experienced engineering team responsible for maintaining production machinery, responding to breakdowns and ensuring maximum plant reliability.The successful Maintenance Engineer will have a strong mechanical background, with experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and site equipment. Respond to machinery breakdowns and diagnose mechanical faults efficiently. Carry out mechanical repairs and component replacements. Conduct fault finding across a range of production and manufacturing equipment.
