The Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of automated production machinery, covering electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults. The company offers an eight-week training and shadowing period and is happy to develop someone who is stronger in either electrical or mechanical engineering.Sector - Factory MaintenanceNon-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance EngineerHands-on engineering experience within manufacturing, industrial maintenance, automotive or a similar environment.Electrical or mechanical fault-finding experience.Requirements for the Maintenance EngineerCarrying out planned and reactive maintenance across automated production machinery.Fault finding on motors, servo drives, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.Reading and working from electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.Supporting machinery installations, improvements and ongoing site expansion.A practical approach with the initiative to investigate and resolve faults independentlyDesirable Requirements for the Maintenance EngineerElectrical or mechanical engineering qualification.PLC fault-finding ..... full job details .....
