Maintenance Engineer

Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join a manufacturing business in Stourbridge.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for someone looking to settle into a long-term role within a supportive and skilled engineering team.
 
Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
- Maintaining production equipment to minimise downtime
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery
- Keeping detailed maintenance records and completing job sheets

 
Requirements:

- Hands on engineering experience
- Strong mechanical skills, with good electrical understanding
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have own transport

 
Desirable:

- Experience working with presses, lathes and milling machines
- Valid Forklift Truck licence
- Valid Overhead Crane licence

 
Location:
Based in Lye, Stourbridge – must be able to commute reliably to site daily.
 
Hours of work:
Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am – 1:30pm
