We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based in the Bath area.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical breakdowns efficiently, minimising production downtime.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

• Identify recurring faults and implement long-term engineering solutions.

• Work closely with production and engineering teams to maximise operational efficiency.

• Maintain high standards of health, safety and engineering best practice.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment.

• Electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled maintenance background.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience maintaining automated production machinery would be advantageous.

• A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

• Relevant engineering qualifications would be beneficial.
