A global Tier 1 Automotive manufacturer in the Shropshire area are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer on a permanent night role to join their brilliant site in Telford
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working and adaptable Engineer with a strong technical background within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will report to the Maintenance Team Leader and provide planned, preventative maintenance expertise along with responses to reactive breakdowns
This is a fantastic opportunity with a multi-national Automotive company who supply to some the biggest OEM’s in the industry
Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Telford
Salary: £49,400 - £54,600
Shift: Nights (23:00 - 07:00) (Mon - Fri)
The key responsibilities of the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer role will be:
Executive Network Group, encompassing Technical Network, Network HR, HSE Network & Procurement People, sourcing mid to senior level management for automotive, aerospace, engineering and manufacturing industrial sectors, with a portfolio of services including executive search, advertising, MRO for permanent and interim contract recruitment services

The key responsibilities of the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer role will be:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults across plant and production equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with machine upgrades and installations.
- Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and fast response to breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the company’s CMMS system.
- Adhere to health & safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maintain high standards of operation.
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within fast paced manufacturing environments such as Automotive, Food, FMCG and more
- Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and fault-find using PLCs (advantageous but not essential).
- Willingness to work night shifts
- Experience on Injection Moulding machinery is highly preferred
