Working as a key member of the engineering team, you will operate as a standalone shift engineer, ensuring the smooth running of all production machinery and equipment during night operations. Job Overview Acting as a standalone shift engineer within the factory environment Carrying out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a range of food production machinery Proactively identifying potential issues and implementing preventative maintenance to reduce downtime Responding efficiently to breakdowns and technical issues during production hours Diagnosing faults across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Supporting production teams to ensure minimal disruption and optimal output Monitoring machinery performance to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards Maintaining accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports Working in line with food safety, health and safety, and site regulations Ensuring all contractors adhere to site rules and safety standards Job Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or food production ..... full job details .....
