Maintenance Engineer - Night Shift

This isn’t your typical engineering role – because on nights, you’re in charge.

There’s no supervisor looking over your shoulder. You’ll be trusted to make the right calls: fix what you can, keep things running smoothly, and hand over anything that needs attention to the day shift. If you enjoy being trusted to get the job done, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll work on:

• A mix of automated lines, conveyors, packaging machinery, and mechanical systems – enough variety to keep things interesting.

• It’s a mechanically heavy role, but you’ll need a solid electrical background too (electrical safety certifcate required) 

The deal:

• Salary: Around £53k.

• Shifts: 4 on 4 off – nights (6pm–6am).

• Team: 3 engineers per night shift, covering the full site.

• Interview: Just one stage – a technical test, some problem-solving, and a site tour with Engineering and HR.

Who we’re looking for:

• Someone multi-skilled, proactive, and good at working independently.

• Food industry experience is a bonus, but if you’re tidy and take pride in your work, we’d love to hear from you.
