Spare parts and replacements are often not available and have to be made in house. The equipment is however very well maintained and breakdowns are uncommon. Most of the work is focused on preventative maintenance. What will you bring to the table ?You will probably be apprentice trained, ideally in electrical engineering or very similarYou will definitely need some electrical knowledge, and 18th edition certification is very much preferred.
