Maintenance Engineer

Position : Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance TechnicianShifts : Days only, Monday to Thursday 4 day week Location : SheffieldSalary : 38,000Mechanical bias preferredWorking as part of a maintenance team responsible for maintenance activities on-site including mechanical fitting, fault finding, purchasing, installation, commission, site maintenance.Working on scheduled PPMs from a CMMS system.Respond quickly to any reactive production breakdowns.Ensuring supply of continued supply of critical spares.Ensuring that the plant is running at an optimum level, minimising downtown, and achieving all internal maintenance demands, in an effective and timely manner, in a way that minimises costs and maximises efficiencies.Achieve KPIs through the CMMS systemAbout You Apprentice trained in Mechanical engineering or very similarKnowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics preferredMethodical fault finderhappy to work as part of a teamFabrication skills beneficial but not necessary Any basic electrical knowledge beneficial Assisting with projects eg machinery installationIf this Maintenance Engineer role with a Manufacturing organisation in Sheffield is for you, please contact Nicholas Associates in Sheffield for an immediate interview About UsWe are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
