Preventative Maintenance Engineer (Nationwide) £180 per night shift (Outside IR35) | 4-6 Week Project | Immediate Start We are looking for 6 Field Engineers to support a nationwide preventative maintenance programme across multiple retail locations.Areas RequiredScotland andamp; North EastYorkshire andamp; East MidlandsNorth West andamp; West MidlandsSouth Wales, South West andamp; South CoastLondon, South East andamp; East AngliaNorthern IrelandThe Role Working night shifts, you will visit one retail site per shift and carry out preventative maintenance activities on a variety of IT and EPOS equipment. Duties will include cleaning and inspecting handheld devices, printers, tills, self-scan units, scales and associated hardware, ensuring equipment remains in good working condition. You will also complete communications room audits, including checking server serial numbers, removing identified Legacy equipment, fitting supplied components, cleaning cabinet areas, creating cabinet maps and capturing photographic evidence. Engineers will be responsible for accurately recording asset information, reporting damaged or unavailable equipment, documenting any access issues and completing all required project reports through the client''s reporting process.
