Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

ECHO Personnel is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) for one of our clients based in Corby. Our client is a well-established and growing packaging manufacturer, supplying high-quality corrugated cardboard and bespoke packaging solutions to businesses across the UK.As a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical), you''ll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing production machinery to ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. You''ll play a key role in supporting daily operations by carrying out planned preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns when required.Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical faults quickly and effectivelyRespond to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtimeInspect equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operationReplace worn or damaged mechanical components as requiredAssist with machinery installations, upgrades, and improvementsMaintain accurate maintenance records and service logsWork closely with production teams to support operational efficiencyEnsure all work is completed in line with health and safety proceduresIdentify opportunities to improve machinery performance and reliabilityRequirements:Previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer or Mechanical Engineer roleRelevant engineering qualifications preferredStrong mechanical fault-finding and repair skillsExperience working ..... full job details .....
