Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical BiasLocation: GlossopSalary: 42,000 + Overtime at 1.5xShift Options: Days OR Afternoon/Evening ShiftAre you a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a permanent opportunity where you can develop your skills and work with well-invested machinery?We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join an established manufacturing site in Glossop.The site has invested heavily in its machinery and engineering capability, with ongoing opportunities for external training and development.This would suit a mechanically biased or multi-skilled engineer who enjoys a hands-on role and has experience working with systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, steam or boilers.The RoleAs Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for keeping site machinery and equipment operating effectively, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.Your duties will include:Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and servicingResponding to breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairsFault finding and diagnosing mechanical issuesWorking with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsWorking with steam and boiler systemsSupporting machinery installation and improvement projectsAssisting with new machinery projectsThe CandidateWe are looking for a practical, hands-on engineer with a strong mechanical background.You should have:Previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Multi-Skilled Engineer positionA recognised engineering ..... full job details .....
