      <description>Location: Witham | Salary: &amp;pound;30000 - &amp;pound;35000/annum | Type: Permanent | Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical &amp; Mechanical) for our client based in Witham.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing business, responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a range of production machinery. Working both independently and as part of a small team, you will play a key role in ensuring machinery operates efficiently whilst minimising downtime.  The successful candidate will be a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience gained within a manufacturing or production environment. Knowledge of PLCs would be advantageous.   Roles &amp; Responsibilities:   	 Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery. 	 Respond to machine breakdowns and carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding. 	 Diagnose faults on electrical, mechanical and instrumentation systems. 	 Assist with dismantling, repairing and reassembling production equipment. 	 Complete scheduled maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
