Maintenance Engineer

Manthorpe Building Products is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of plastic injection moulded, vacuum formed and extruded products for the building industry. The purpose of the role is to assist with the maintenance, repair, and ongoing upkeep of operations equipment and services. Continuing to learn skills to further develop and carry out various tasks, whilst being fully compliant to all corporate and legislative standards and guidelines. Workings hours: Monday to Friday on Rotational Shift: 06:00 - 14:30 14:00 - 22:30 Key Responsibilities: To service various machines to the set schedule, maintaining a high quality of work throughout. Perform breakdowns in a time critical environment with a right first-time approach. Provide technical support to the other employees, with the ability to troubleshoot and fault find. Maintain a suitable stock level of wear and tear items within the workshop, highlighting low items and getting quotes for replacements. Trained to a high level of lifting operations, able to undertake any given lifting task onsite. Communicate with other members of the management team with issues. Able to assist with the installation of machines and undertake a variety of projects around the site where required. Role model behaviour to other members of staff.
